iPod classic 120GB
This iPod is good but sometimes it's frozen for a while. The touching button doesn't work really well. But it is kool. I like it!
It should've always been like this
I owned an iPod nano 8 GB (3rd Generation) and loved its size. Life at the gym could't get any easier. But the dream ended when my playlist reached full capacity (wow, 8gb? you should be ashamed). Anyway, sold the little fellow and read some reviews hoping to buy the new nano (4th gen). Why the hell did they messed up with the compatibility? Thanks to all of you who wrote that it was not possible to turn off "shake to shuffle", dealbreaker.
So, it was back to the review board, now regarding the Classic model, 6th generation. Yes, it's a lot bigger, yes, I was used to the little one, but this is just amazing. Hey, I even use it as a external hard drive. It's pretty slim and not at all heavy.
I think iPod Classic is a great buy. Even a movie is appreciated (though small screen, but it's a lot better than no movie at all in a doctor's waiting room, airport or travel).
Hope this helps and I really hope Apple will listen to their nano disappointed customers.
Not sure what went wrong with this one
You'll find much of what's always been great about the ipod classic here - lots of storage and an intuitive interface with crisp onscreen graphics. You'll also get some annoying problems, no extra charge. For example, spontaneous restarts. Particularly when shuffling, the ipod will occasionally shut down and restart, all by itself. Seems like a software issue, possibly with the OS. Can you please fix this, Apple? Also, it's very finicky about working with docking devices, particularly those not manufactured by Apple. This is odd, as all docking devices must meet Apple specs. I also have an 80G Classic that I use exclusively for classical music, and it works flawlessly with all of my docking devices. In fact (knock wood) I've never had any problems with the 80. So what's wrong with the 120G? Almost seems like a beta version. Honestly, if Apple could fix the problems, this would get 5 stars.
